MS-DOS window does not disappear...(due to incorrect properties).
Cause:
The DOS application being used does not have the 'Close on exit' property enabled.
Solution:
Right-click the DOS application's icon. Select 'Properties' and click the 'Program' tab. Select the 'Close on exit' check box for the DOS application. Click 'Apply' and click 'OK'.
1) Right-click the appropriate DOS application icon. (A pop-up menu appears.)
2) Select 'Properties' from the pop-up menu. (The 'Shortcut to <name> Properties' dialog box appears, where <name> is the name of the selected application.)
3) Click the 'Program' tab. (The 'Program' tabbed page appears.)
4) Select the 'Close on exit' check box.

6) Click 'OK' to close the 'Shortcut to <name> Properties' dialog box.
